The Little Woodland Collection
Hello,
I thought I’d tell you a little bit about ‘The Little Woodland Collection’. This is my biggest nursery collection (so far) and it’s still on going, so I feel it deserves a little introduction.
The magic of Wyresdale Park
It will always be a special collection to me personally, as it’s inspired by the magical Wyresdale Park, the home to my little shop/studio, in Scorton, Lancashire. Wyresdale Park has a magical and whimsical charm and is full of endless inspiration, some of which you see in my nursery prints.

My aims for the collection...
From the beginning my aim was to design and paint a collection of nursery prints that would create a natural and calming enviroment for both babies and children. Something that would be mainly gender neutral, but would have the option of adding slightly more girly or boyish elements and it was also important to me that the prints were timeless and would grow with each child.
Little nature lovers grow into big nature lovers
I also wanted the prints to do more than just decorate the walls of nurseries and children’s bedrooms. I wanted them to spark an interest in nature and to inspire children from an early age to care for the animals and nature around them! (I also have more exciting plans in the future to support this idea, but I will tell you about them nearer the time.)
The Little Woodland Collection
Bringing the outside in... From woodland animals and insects too woodland treasures and wildflowers, this collection has it all. Delicately painted by hand in earthy tones, all of which compliment each other, making it easy to mix and match prints and create a beautiful woodland theme gallery wall for your little one.
More about the prints...
Every print starts off as a hand painted original watercolour painting, which I then digitalise to create the finished prints.
I print them myself in my home studio based in Lancashire, using 100% recycled/recyclable card and vegetable based inks. I then carefully pack each individual print in compostable packaging and recycled tissue paper to make them feel extra special when they arrive in the post.
I've absolutely loved working on The Little Woodland Collection so far and I feel like I've barely touched the service. So fingers crossed you still like them, as you can expect to see a lot more woodland animals from me in the future!
