Children's Watercolour Workshop
If you've been wondering if your children would like to do a watercolour workshop, then here's a sneak peek of what we got up to; in the workshop over the October half-term.
Inspired by Autumn and all of its magical treasures.
Focused on creativity and fun, I showed the children simple watercolour techniques, to help recreate the textures found in Autumn.

Each element is broken down into simple steps.
For example when painting the autumn leaf we started with a simple watercolour technique in an abstract and loose approach on a blank piece of paper.
Once dry (thanks to my Mum's quick drying skills) we used a template to draw the leaf onto the painted piece of paper.
(Older/more confident children are welcome to draw the shape themselves).
And then finally it's good old fashioned cutting and sticking and adding the finishing touches in pencil crayons, to their Autumn masterpieces.
(Children's safety scissors are provided and help is on hand if needed)
And don't forget, whilst your children are having fun, you can enjoy cake and coffee in the Apple Store Cafe or have a wonder around the Artisan Shops.
