The kid’s colouring calendar features 12 of my (Carla Gebhard) hand-drawn illustrations, which will take you and your little ones, through the year. Celebrating the seasons with whimsical woodland animals one month at a time.
Each monthly illustration shows seasonal changes, such as the leaves falling in Autumn and the wildflowers in Summer. So your children can also learn a little bit about nature, whilst they’re colouring in the calendar.
It also includes some of the flowers you can expect to see out and about that month. So when you're on a family adventure in the woods, you can spot the flowers from that month in the calendar, making it a fun and educational game of eye spy.
The calendar is not only a lovely colouring activity for your children, but it also helps you, to teach them, organisation skills from an early age. They can write down all of their play dates and parties for the month and then easily keep track and see what they've got to look forward to.
Alternatively, your children can colour in all of the months before Christmas and then give the calendar as a thoughtful Christmas gift to their Grandparents (or other family/friends). That way, their Grandparents get to see their little love's artwork every time they look at their calendar.
